CANE

Cane  -  Hand Woven
The standard pattern is 6 courses 
plus a binder to finish the edge and cover the holes.
Each strand is individually woven 
through holes in the frame.

Frames can take all forms, whether they are for seats, 
backs or perhaps just for a decorative panel.

CANE - MACHINE WOVEN
Cane woven into sheets by machine is cut to size and secured to the frame by 
a "spline" of narrow rattan material glued in a channel around the perimeter.
